Micah Thomas Trio

Micah Thomas started playing piano by ear at age two and has quickly become a notable young jazz artist. After growing up performing in Columbus and earning his Master of Music degree from the Juilliard School in 2020, he toured widely as a leader and sideman. His January 2023 show at Cliff Bell’s featured two performances at 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., with doors opening at 5 p.m. so guests could grab dinner beforehand. The $25 ticket gave jazz lovers a chance to experience his virtuosic and expressive piano playing live in Detroit.
