James Carter brought his vibrant musical spirit to Cliff Bell’s for a holiday jazz event, blending furious and tender saxophone solos with the soulful sounds of Detroit rising star Gerard Gibbs on B3 organ and the driving beats of drummer Alex White. Their organ trio, rich in history and experience, has been going strong for seventeen years. The show offered two performances in the evening, opening doors at 5 p.m. for dinner and seating starting at 6:15 p.m. and 9 p.m. Visitors experienced a unique jazz night full of energy and festive spirit.
