Brandon Rose

Brandon Rose learned from legends Marcus Miller and Rodney Whitaker, mixing his gospel background into contemporary jazz to create rhythm and blues and soul-inspired music. His sound effortlessly blends jazz, funk, hip hop, and R&B for a rich experience. He got early notice as a child bassist on Michigan TV and started playing bass at Detroit’s mega-church at age five. Since then, he’s toured worldwide with artists like his mentor Marcus Miller. His writing reflects themes of love, lost love, and social protests like Black Lives Matter. The show had sets at 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. at Cliff Bell’s, which opened doors at 5 p.m. for dinner and started seating 6:15 p.m. and 9 p.m.
