GET LOUD! A Trans Solidarity Protest & Pride Parade

The event kicked off with an hour of public protest joining Protest for Progress downtown at Monument Park from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., showing visible support for the trans and queer community. Afterward, the group marched to the Calder Plaza Pride Festival, making one and a half loops through the festival grounds, filled with music, chants, and pride. The parade ended at the festival stage around 12:15 p.m., followed by speakers and performances highlighting trans resilience and joy. Jazz McKinney, Executive Director of the GR Pride Center, gave opening remarks for the Pride Festival 2026. This event was co-hosted by the GR Trans Foundation, Protest for Progress, and the GR Pride Center.
