Legal Doc Assistance Walk-In Day at GR Trans Foundation

If you’re a trans or nonbinary resident of Kent County, GR Trans Foundation held walk-in assistance days to help with updating or obtaining driver’s licenses, state IDs, birth certificates, and passports from 1 to 5 p.m. on the second and fourth Wednesdays in Grand Rapids. You needed to bring your driver’s license or state ID, a certified birth certificate, certified name change documents, and any old passport if you had one. Assistance was free but first come, first served, so wait times were possible.
