Legal Doc Assistance Walk-In Day

At the GR Trans Foundation on October 22, trans and nonbinary residents of Kent County could drop in anytime between 1 and 5 p.m. for assistance with updating or obtaining driver's licenses, state IDs, social security cards, birth certificates, and passports. They needed to bring supporting documents like their driver's license or state ID, a certified birth certificate, a certified name change copy if applicable, and their old passport if they had one. The service was offered on a first-come, first-served basis, so people might have waited in line. Financial help was available for those in need.
