Tigers’ Opening Day with Jarrod Champion Quartet

Jarrod Champion is a versatile Detroit musician known for jazz, blues, funk, soul, and traditional country/folk. A singer and pianist, he has played with numerous local groups and leads his own ensembles. His career includes international and national tours with performances at iconic venues like Red Rocks and the Hammerstein Ballroom. He also writes music for stage plays and films and records extensively at his home studio. On the Tigers’ Opening Day, April 8, he performed at Cliff Bell’s immediately after the game, providing live music alongside a special menu. Dinner reservations weren’t accepted that evening, and the venue closed around 8 p.m.
