Curtis Taylor Quartet

Curtis Taylor, known for his lyrical and melodic trumpet style, performed two sets at Detroit’s Cliff Bell’s. He has worked with top names like Patrice Rushen and Gregory Porter’s Grammy-winning producer Kamau Kenyatta. Taylor has toured extensively with saxophonist James Carter’s Quintet across Europe and North America, bringing a rich, emotive sound to the Detroit stage. The night featured elegant solos and tight ensemble playing from a seasoned jazz artist.
