Chastity Brown

Chastity Brown grew up in Tennessee surrounded by country and soul music and was active in her full gospel church playing saxophone and drums before discovering her singing voice and passion for music. Her first show was in Knoxville, TN, followed by a move to Minneapolis. She has since been featured on NPR’s “Favorite Sessions,” CMT, American Songwriter, the London Times, and Paste Magazine. She has toured across the US and internationally, including an appearance on the UK’s Later…with Jools Holland. NPR describes her work as "a work of brooding soul eloquence, alt-rock wiriness, atmospheric pop sweetening and folk-infected naturalness."
