Wild Child

Wild Child is the songwriting partnership of Kelsey Wilson and Alexander Beggins from Austin. Emerging from a spontaneous creative spark in the back of a tour van, they have since become one of Austin's beloved indie-folk bands, noted for their warm harmonies, honest lyrics, and an evolving mix of folk, pop, and brass-driven sounds. After years of near-constant touring and working on individual projects, they reunited to create new music characterized by raw, emotional, and authentic performance.

The band has always emphasized community and collaboration, facing challenges such as a Texas ice storm and power outages together while continuously inviting new creative voices. Their music reflects resilience, connection, and the joy of collaborative creation. Today, Wild Child continues to explore new directions through their label Reba’s Ranch Records and family-friendly ventures such as Wild Child for Kids.
