Peter Mulvey & Jenna Nicholls Present Floyd Mercantile

In April 2025, Peter Mulvey, Jenna Nicholls, and guitarist Ross Bellenoit spent five days recording Floyd Mercantile in Floyd, Virginia, inside a decommissioned general store. The album captures live performances with no overdubs, creating a warm, timeless sound combining their own songs with Great American Songbook classics. The sessions also featured audio and video production that embraces the natural ambience of the old wooden building. On Sunday, May 31, the trio brought this intimate atmosphere to life at The Ark in Ann Arbor starting at 7:30 p.m., sharing the album’s blend of old and new songs with a live audience. Tickets sold for $29.
