Strictly Fine (Soul Band)

Members of Strictly Fine have spent years playing across the Midwest in all kinds of venues—from basements to stadiums—and now they’ve joined forces to light up any stage that welcomes them. The group sings, shouts, and even channels a bit of James Brown spirit when the moment strikes. Their rhythm section is so tight it’s like falling into a musical black hole, anchored by pulsing bass and drums. Occasionally they match outfits, but their sock game pretty much always impresses. On this night at Cliff Bell’s, they delivered soul and funk tunes packed with heart and dance moves, leaving the crowd with some slick grooves and good vibes.
