Tbone Paxton concert (CANCELLED due to extreme cold)

John “Tbone” Paxton is a seasoned trombonist and vocalist active in Southeastern Michigan's jazz scene for years. He’s the featured singer and trombone soloist with the award-winning Planet D Nonet. Having played with many notable Detroit area musicians and with a career rooted in jazz and blues influences, he brings soul and passion to his performances. He was part of the Sun Messengers for decades before focusing on his solo work. This January 31, 2019 concert at Cliff Bell’s fell through because of extreme cold weather conditions.
