Bill Heid Trio

Bill Heid grew up during Pittsburgh’s jazz heyday, learning from legends in clubs like Hurricane Bar and Crawford Grill. He later built a solid blues piano career in Detroit and Chicago, working with artists such as Jimmy Witherspoon and Koko Taylor. Known also for his organ work, Bill recorded on Muse/Westside and Savant labels and served as a jazz ambassador touring globally. His June 16 show at Cliff Bell’s showcased his unique mix of jazz and blues influences.
