Jeff Cuny Trio

Jeff Cuny is finishing his master’s degree in jazz studies at Wayne State University and plays bass in his own trio. He’s also the chief arranger for Midtown Sounds and performs around Detroit with artists like Tbone Paxton and the Gary Greenfelder Orchestra. His set at Cliff Bell’s brought fresh and engaging jazz tunes from a gifted young bassist. The show had no cover charge, making it easy to drop in and hear some quality live music in a welcoming venue.
