Becoming Quintet

Becoming is an exciting new jazz collective featuring Eric Wortzman (trumpet), Markus Howell (sax), Luther Allison (piano), Liany Mateo (bass), and Zach Adleman (drums). Each member brought original compositions and arrangements to the stage, drawing from their own experience leading bands. The musicians have won numerous awards and performed worldwide. Notably, Zach won the J.C Heard National Drum Competition and contributed to Grammy-winning recordings. They've played venues like Carnegie Hall and Grammy after-parties with jazz greats. This concert presented their original jazz music to the audience at Cliff Bell’s.
