Kathleen Edwards concert in Ann Arbor

Kathleen Edwards has been a staple of North American roots music for more than twenty years. Since her 2002 debut Faileralbum, she’s blended alt-country, folk, and heartland rock in a unique way that earned multiple Juno nominations and radio hits. After the success of Voyageur, she took some time off before returning with new material, including 2020’s Total Freedom. At The Ark in Ann Arbor, she performed songs from her evolving catalog with her signature style. Note: the venue’s elevator was out of service, so attendees used stairs to reach the second-floor stage.
