There’s a Place for You in the Circle: Joe Reilly and The Community Gardeners with the All Nations Dancers

Joe Reilly, a musician from Kalamazoo with Italian, Irish, and Native American (Cherokee and Choctaw) roots, performed with his band, The Community Gardeners, at The Ark in Ann Arbor. The event featured pow wow dancers from Mt. Pleasant’s Anishinaabe community, adding a rich cultural layer to the music. Sponsored by Ann Arbor Public Schools, the family event included a lunch before the concert. Though pre-registration was closed, walk-ups were welcome until space ran out.
