The RFD Boys at The Ark in Ann Arbor

At The Ark, the RFD Boys delivered a show rooted in decades of Michigan bluegrass tradition dating back to 1969. Known not only for their skilled musicianship but also their witty between-song humor, the band shares a slice of American bluegrass heritage. Dan Roehrig joined the band in 2018, bringing influences from guitar legends like Doc Watson and Tony Rice, which you can hear in his singing and playing. There was no advance ticket sales; guests bought tickets at the door. Attendees also had to navigate stairs to the second floor since the venue’s elevator was out of service during the concert.
