David Howley (of We Banjo 3)

David Howley has been a leading figure in Irish guitar, banjo, and mandolin for over a decade. Known initially as part of the Billboard No.1 band We Banjo 3, he has since made a significant mark as a solo indie folk artist. His debut solo album 'Venus' was called 'a thing of rare beauty' by the Irish Times, and his track 'Shadow' draws on the ancient myth of Eurydice and Orpheus to explore themes of love and loss.

Joining David were his brother Martin Howley, a seven-time national champion in Irish mandolin and banjo, and Kiana June, a fiddler from Michigan known for blending classical training with American and Irish folk music. The show took place at The Ark in Ann Arbor, where attendees had to use stairs to reach the second-floor performance area due to elevator repairs.
