Laura Cortese & The Dance Cards

Laura Cortese has forged a remarkable music career, performing at notable events like the 2009 Newport Folk Festival alongside Pete Seeger and at Carnegie Hall with Band of Horses the same year. She toured with Uncle Earl in 2007, recorded with artists such as Aoife O’Donovan and Brittany Haas, and released seven albums. As an ambassador for American music with the US State Department, she performed and taught internationally, including in India, Greece, and Ukraine. She appeared on the cover of Strings Magazine in July 2020. Her show at The Ark offered a rich and unique musical experience.
