Ari Teitel

At the release of his first album “Untitled,” Ari Teitel performed with Detroit legends Skeeto Valdez on drums, Paul Randolph on bass and vocals, and Philip Hale on keyboards at Cliff Bell’s. His originals and select covers ranged from Sly & The Family Stone and Parliament Funkadelic to Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, Paul Simon, and Bob Dylan. A Michigan State jazz grad now living in New Orleans, Teitel has played with Thornetta Davis, Karen Clark-Sheard, Larry McCray, and others, often appearing at famed New Orleans venues like Tipitina’s and The Howlin’ Wolf.
