Karaoke Night Contest
Karaoke contest night at Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort in Mount Pleasant on Friday, November 13. Open mic starts at 6 p.m., and the contest kicks off at 8 p.m. with local celebrity judges scoring the performances.
Warm up your voice at Open Mic Karaoke from 6 to 8 p.m., then take your shot in the contest from 8 to 11 p.m. at the Creekside Lounge at Saganing Eagles Landing Casino & Hotel. Only the first 20 performers get in, and registration closes at 8 p.m.
Judges score overall entertainment value, song choice, staying on track with the music, and pitch. The Top 3 move on and sing a second song, then 1st, 2nd and 3rd place are named. Ties go to an extra song picked by the DJ. You can perform once a week unless you make the Top 3, and the judges' decisions are final.
