Antje Duvekot & David Berkeley
Singer-songwriters Antje Duvekot and David Berkeley, two writers who turn deeply personal stories into shared ones, play The Ark in Ann Arbor on Tuesday, January 12, 2027, at 8 p.m. Tickets are $29.
Antje Duvekot was born in Germany and moved to the U.S. as a young teen. She picked up a guitar in high school and started looking at the world through two cultures. The confessional folk of Dar Williams and Ani DiFranco gave her license to write about personal experience, and vulnerability has anchored her career ever since.
David Berkeley is a Santa Fe-based songwriter and author whose songs can break and mend the heart. He's been a standout guest on This American Life and has won songwriting honors including ASCAP's Johnny Mercer Songwriting Award. He has released nine studio albums, a live album and two books. His newest album is A Pail Full of Fire, and his music rewards close listening.
The $29 online and phone price includes the processing fee. Buy in person at The Ark during box office hours and you skip the fees.
