A Message From White Flowers: VOICES Series

White Flowers emerged from the Autophysiopsychic Millennium collective's theatrical show, Something Else in the Garden. Their music draws from environmental themes and climate consciousness, channeling the spirit of Dr. Yusef Lateef’s novella Night in the Garden of Love, set on a dying Earth ravaged by human neglect. The musicians—LuFuki, King Sophia, Aaron Jonah Lewis, Indira Edwards, Laina Martin, AnJelic, and Michael Smith—use deep emotional engagement to explore climate issues through social, political, and cultural lenses. This concert was part of the VOICES series at The Ark, which highlights Michigan BIPOC artists and features conversations with the performers.
