The Plot In You: World Tour, Part 1
Gold-selling Ohio rock band The Plot In You plays Friday, April 16, at 5 p.m. at the Masonic Temple Theatre in Detroit on the first leg of their World Tour. They mix alternative, electronic, pop and R&B into heavy rock, and tickets are available online.
The quartet (Landon Tewers on vocals, Josh Childress on guitar, Ethan Yoder on bass, Michael Cooper on drums) loves a curveball, and a single song can swerve in a new direction without warning. They broke through with 2018's DISPOSE, and "FEEL NOTHING" went viral on social media, racking up hundreds of millions of streams and going gold in the U.S., Canada and Australia.
After Vol. 1 and the Vol. 2 EP comes Vol. 3 with three tracks: "Been Here Before" is about the ups and downs of relationships, "Spare Me" tackles the weight of societal pressure, and "Pretend" looks at turning away from the tragedies of daily life.
This is an all-ages show in the Masonic Temple Theatre hall.
