Spend three days exploring handcrafted books. You'll learn unique bookbinding techniques, design distinctive covers with mixed media materials, and finish with your own handmade books and journals. Inspiration comes from the artist books, graphic design and mixed media objects in Cranbrook's museum galleries and vault.

The series runs Wednesday, March 10, through Friday, March 12, ending at 1:30 p.m. on the last day. Wear art-friendly clothes and bring a packed lunch. No experience is needed, and all art-making materials are provided. Space is limited, so register in advance.
