Tim Easton

Tim Easton has been a key figure in American roots music for more than two decades, creating songs that meld folk, blues, and workingman's rock & roll. Raised near the Niagara River in upstate New York and Ohio, his influences include legends like Doc Watson and Woody Guthrie. After busking around Europe and settling in East Nashville, he carved out his spot as a modern troubadour. His new double LP, "North American Songwriter," features acoustic recordings of favorites from his vast original catalog, showcased during his live set at The Ark in Ann Arbor. Tickets were $20.
