Stonewall Run Club
Affirmations LGBTQ+ Community Center's run club sets off Wednesday, February 17, at 6:30 p.m. from Affirmations in Ferndale. Pick a 5K or 10K, then finish at Soho or Sidecar Slider Bar.
The run starts outside Affirmations on West Nine Mile Road. You can choose a 5K or 10K route, and both finish behind Soho and Sidecar Slider Bar. On even weeks (2nd and 4th) the run ends at Soho, and on odd weeks (1st and 3rd) it ends at Sidecar Slider Bar.
Weather calls are made by 11 a.m. on Wednesdays based on radar. If there's rain, lightning or other unsafe conditions near Nine Mile Road and Troy Street, the run is called off and turns into an indoor meetup at Soho or Sidecar Slider Bar from 7 to 8 p.m. No update by 11 means the run is on. Watch @stonewalldetroit and @goaffirmations for announcements.
