Twelfth Night – Michigan Tech Theatre
Michigan Tech Theatre stages Shakespeare's Twelfth Night on Saturday, April 17, 2027, at 7:30 p.m. at McArdle Theatre in Houghton. Expect love, mistaken identities and pranks that go too far, plus plenty of UP and MTU inside jokes. Tickets are through the Rozsa box office or online.
One of Shakespeare's best rom-coms, adapted for modern audiences as a multimedia show packed with Upper Peninsula and Michigan Tech easter eggs. Nich Radcliffe adapted and directed it.
Seating opens at 7 p.m. and is general admission. The run time is about 2 hours with intermission. Get tickets at rozsatickets.com or the Rozsa Box Office: pay as you're able, with a $20 full fee. Michigan Tech students can use student rush tickets by logging in with MTU single sign-on.
Content guidance: themes of grief, 17th-century gender and identity roles, bawdy humor, depictions of intoxication, and some psychological teasing and bullying, including mild violence. The show runs April 14-17, with each performance at 7:30 p.m.
