Open Mic: Art In A Fly Space
Detroit Shipping Company hosts an open mic night on Tuesday, November 3, at 8 p.m. on Peterboro Street in Detroit. Tell jokes, sing, drop some spoken word, or just sit back and watch your fellow Detroiters do their thing.
Got a joke, a song, a poem? Maybe a short lecture on the finer points of pet grooming? Bring it, the stage is yours.
If performing isn't your thing, grab a seat and watch what other Detroiters come up with. It runs from 8 to 9 p.m. at Detroit Shipping Company, 474 Peterboro Street. There are drink specials and good food, and no shame allowed.
