Make Way for Ducklings
Croswell Opera House stages the family musical Make Way for Ducklings on Saturday, March 20, at 2:30 p.m. in Adrian, with a pair of ducks looking for the perfect nesting spot in the big city. Tickets are available online.
Based on the beloved 1941 children's book, this musical follows Mr. and Mrs. Mallard as they raise their ducklings in busy Boston. They want a safe, quiet place to nest, but they can't agree on where, and the bickering carries over into parenthood, rubbing off on the kids.
The show touches on decision-making, polite disagreement and owning up to mistakes, and it works for both kids and adults. In the end, it's about how apologizing and love turn any spot into a home. The production runs March 19 through 21, and this is the Saturday matinee.
