Neoliberal Loops Gallery Exhibit - Rozsa Art Galleries

Emma C. Johnson's artwork investigates the societal implications of neoliberalism, postfeminism, and economic instability using painting, printmaking, photography, video, sound, and text. The Neoliberal Loops project comprises three works themed around financial crisis, incorporating music, digital video, LED text installations, and letterpress prints. The exhibition encourages viewers to critically engage with capitalism, feminist theory, and the pervasive nature of neoliberalism, blending art, writing, music, and theory in an interdisciplinary manner.

This project was developed with support from Michigan Technological University's Math and Music Lab, integrating mathematics, visual and performing arts, and the humanities. The Rozsa Art Galleries are open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturdays 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitors are advised about the use of LED and LCD screens featuring moving and flashing images throughout the exhibit.
