Holiday Walk has been a Meadow Brook Hall tradition for over 50 years. The Tudor-revival mansion, a National Historic Landmark built between 1926 and 1929, fills up with some 50 trees, flickering fireplaces and lights everywhere.

It's a self-guided indoor walk that takes about an hour, running from the Grand Ballroom to the Sun Porch. All ages are welcome, and it works for a date or a family outing. Tours start every half hour from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The hall closes from 4 to 5:30 p.m. to reset the tour route.

It goes on rain, snow or shine, and parking is free in Lot 61.
