This is a self-guided outdoor walk across the lit-up Meadow Brook Estate, with the option to tour part of the decorated interior of Meadow Brook Hall. Entry times run every half hour from 6 to 8 p.m. (6:00, 6:30, 7:00, 7:30 and 8:00).

Expect seasonal and specialty drinks, selfie stations, bonfires and food trucks. It goes on rain, snow or shine. Parking is free and a shuttle is available. The estate closes daily from 4 to 5:30 p.m. to reset the tour route between the daytime Holiday Walk and the evening light show.

Matilda Dodge Wilson built Meadow Brook Hall between 1926 and 1929 for $4 million. It's one of America's finest examples of Tudor-revival architecture.
