For more than 50 years, the Holiday Walk has led visitors through this historic mansion dressed up for the season. The one-hour self-guided tour winds through the 110-room estate, with some 50 trees, flickering fireplaces and lights everywhere, from the Grand Ballroom to the Sun Porch. This day is Senior Day.

Meadow Brook Hall is a National Historic Landmark on the Oakland University campus, built by Matilda Dodge Wilson between 1926 and 1929 and a prime example of Tudor-revival architecture. Tours start at 11:00, 11:30, 12:30, 1:00, 1:30, 2:00, 2:30 and 3:00. It goes on rain, snow or shine, and parking is free in Lot 61. The hall closes from 4 to 5:30 p.m. to reset the tour route.
