Amy Speace is highly regarded by Rolling Stone and Billboard as a strong figure in folk and Americana music. Discovered by Judy Collins, and mentored by music icons like Tom Paxton and Janis Ian, her songs have been recorded by artists including Judy Collins and Red Molly. After two decades of touring across the US and Europe, she’s performed at festivals from Glastonbury to Rocky Mountain Folks Fest. Since moving to Nashville in 2009, she’s regularly played the Bluebird Café. Her song “Me and the Ghost of Charlemagne” was named International Song of the Year in 2020 by the Americana Music Association UK. Her albums “There Used To Be Horses Here” (2021) and “Tucson” (2022) received critical acclaim and radio success. She performed at The Ark in Ann Arbor, with tickets priced at $20.
