Spooky Serves 2026
Pickleball, a costume contest and dinner with drag, all in one night: Affirmations LGBTQ+ Community Center hosts Spooky Serves on Friday, October 16, at 6 p.m. at Paddle & Par in Beverly Hills, with a show by Betty J Madison.
Pickleball kicks off at 6 p.m. Everybody gets a name tag and a paddle, and the courts open for rotating open play. A coach works with beginners on the guided beginner courts.
The costume contest is at 7:30 p.m. During the break, change and enter in front of the judges, Betty J Madison among them. Everyone who enters goes into the end-of-night raffle.
At 8 p.m. it's Dinner and Drag: a buffet with pizza, salad and wings. Once everyone has settled in with their food, Betty J Madison performs and draws the raffle winners. It's at Paddle & Par, 31535 Southfield Rd, Beverly Hills. Registration is required.
