Great White and Quiet Riot
Grammy-nominated Great White and Quiet Riot, the band behind the chart-topping Metal Health, play Tuesday, December 29, at 8 p.m. at Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort in Mount Pleasant. Two '80s hard rock and metal names share one night.
Great White has been pushing blues-based, crunching guitar riffs since 1982. Their hit "Once Bitten, Twice Shy" earned a Grammy nomination for Best Hard Rock Performance, and they've sold over 10 million albums worldwide. Brett Carlisle sings, with Mark Kendall, Michael Lardie, Audie Desbrow and Scott Snyder in the lineup. Expect songs like "Rock Me," "Save Your Love" or "House of Broken Love."
Quiet Riot was the first heavy metal band to hit #1 on the Billboard album chart, with Metal Health. Their cover of "Cum on Feel the Noize" and the title track drove it past 10 million copies worldwide. Today the band features Rudy Sarzo, Alex Grossi, Johnny Kelly and new vocalist John Torra.
