Wood-Fired Sauna at Belle Isle Beach
SOMi Sauna parks its wood-fired cedar sauna trailer on the sand at Belle Isle Beach in Detroit on Sunday, October 25, with sessions from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and the city skyline across the river. Book a 75-minute session online.
The trailer sits just west of the Beach House. Sessions run 75 minutes and start every 90 minutes, with ten seats each. Rotate between the 180-205°F hot room, a dip in the Detroit River, or a chair out in the open air.
Bring a swimsuit, towel, sandals and plenty of water. Sessions are for adults 18 and over, everyone signs a waiver, and the crew asks that you come sober. They run in any weather, and parking in the beach lot is free.
