Lady Champagne was born in Louisiana, where she first heard down-home blues. Her family moved to Detroit's west side when she was fourteen, and at Northwestern High School music became part of her life. She later hit the Detroit blues clubs and shared stages with Johnny Taylor, B.B. King, Bobby Blue Bland and Tyrone Davis.

Her band opened for Bobby Rush, and she has performed alongside Koko Taylor, Alberta Adams, Chick Willis and Jimmy Johnson. She is a member of the Detroit Blues Hall of Fame and the National Rhythm and Blues Hall of Fame, and in 2024 Native Detroiter Magazine named her Blues Artist of the Decade.

The show runs from 6:30 to 10 p.m.
