Family Workshop: Mini Art Museum
Cranbrook Art Museum shrinks the museum down to size on Saturday, March 6, from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at the Art Lab in Bloomfield Hills. It's a family workshop for kids 4-16 at $15 per participant, with pre-registration required.
You start with an interactive tour, then an artist leads a hands-on workshop. Everyone makes their own mini works of art for a tiny museum display, using a mix of sculpting and painting materials.
The workshop is for families with children ages 4 to 16. Register ahead on the museum's website. All materials are provided.
