Mei Semones grew up in Ann Arbor, started piano at four and picked up electric guitar at 11, partly inspired by Marty McFly's "Johnny B. Goode" scene in Back to the Future. She writes bilingual songs, and jazz, bossa nova, samba and grungy math rock live in the same world in her music. The New York Times, Stereogum, Rolling Stone and The FADER have all flagged her as one to know.

Her second album, Howl, came out January 15 on Verve/Interscope. The title track started on a Fourth of July night in Brooklyn, when the neighborhood dogs howled back at the fireworks.

Online and phone prices include the ticket processing fee. You can buy in person at The Ark box office during box office hours with no added fees. A VIP package is also available: meet and greet with a photo, one exclusive merch item, early entry, early merch table access and a GA ticket.
