Benjamin Tod & Lost Dog Street Band
Benjamin Tod & Lost Dog Street Band play Saturday, October 3, at 7 p.m. at The Majestic Theatre in Detroit. The Lost Dog frontman leans into his Shooting Star material with a country and honky-tonk edge. With Candi Jenkins. All ages. Tickets available.
Benjamin Tod has shifted from darker folk into a clearer, country-leaning sound. On Shooting Star he threads honky-tonk through classic country flavors while keeping his plainspoken, cut-to-the-bone writing. The Nashville busker roots are still there, now aimed at three chords and the truth.
Candi Jenkins joins the bill. It’s an all-ages show at The Majestic Theatre in Detroit. Tickets available.
