Twitty writes and teaches about Southern foodways, the African diaspora, and where African American, Southern, and Jewish histories meet. His second book, Kosher Soul, won the National Jewish Book Award in 2022. You may know him from Bizarre Foods America, Taste the Nation, or High on the Hog, and he recently published Recipes from the American South with Phaidon.

Museum CEO and President Neil A. Barclay moderates, and the audience gets to ask questions afterward. It's in the General Motors Theater and wraps up at 7:30 p.m.

General admission is $25. For $40 you also get a VIP meet and greet right after the program, with an open bar and hors d'oeuvres.
