Hair
Wayne State University Theatre and Dance stages the rock musical Hair on Friday, April 23, at 7:30 p.m. at the Hilberry Gateway in Detroit. It's a sixties counterculture show packed with songs like "Aquarius" and "Let The Sunshine In." Tickets are available online.
Hair celebrates the sixties counterculture in all its barefoot, long-haired, bell-bottomed, beaded and fringed glory. An energetic rock beat drives songs like "Aquarius," "Good Morning, Starshine," "Hair," "I Got Life" and "Let The Sunshine In."
The show digs into identity, community, global responsibility and peace, and what it means to be young in a changing world. You'll find the Hilberry Gateway at 4715 Cass Avenue in Detroit.
