Every year Flint Rep brings in contemporary American playwrights and composers to share works in development. After a week of workshops and rehearsals, three days of readings let you catch these pieces before anyone else and meet the artists behind them. Past participants include Larissa FastHorse, Beth Henley, Michael Kooman and Christopher Dimond, and James Anthony Tyler.

There are four readings: Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at noon and 7 p.m., and Sunday at 5 p.m. Exact titles will be announced closer to the festival. Tickets are $9, no fees added.
