Alyssa Allgood draws on both vocal and instrumental jazz traditions—tender one moment, bold the next—with the conversational swing that’s made her a three-time DownBeat Critics Poll Rising Star and the inaugural Ella Fitzgerald Competition winner. She’s brought that voice to stages from Birdland to the Green Mill.
Two sets at 7 and 9 p.m. at Blue LLama Jazz Club in Ann Arbor. Cover is $25.
