Stonewall Run Club
Affirmations LGBTQ+ Community Center's run club sets off Wednesday, January 27, at 6:30 p.m. outside Affirmations in Ferndale. Pick a 5K or 10K, then finish at Soho or Sidecar Slider Bar.
The run starts outside Affirmations on West Nine Mile Road. You can choose between a 5K and a 10K route, and both end behind Soho and Sidecar Slider Bar. The post-run spot alternates: Soho on even weeks (2 and 4), Sidecar Slider Bar on odd weeks (1 and 3).
Weather calls are made by 11 a.m. on Wednesdays based on radar and posted online. No update by 11 means the run is on. If it's canceled, the group meets up at Soho / Sidecar Slider Bar from 7 to 8 p.m. instead. Announcements go out on @stonewalldetroit and @goaffirmations.
