3rd Annual Hot Dog Mile at Eastern Market Brewing

The Hot Dog Mile is a fun event created by the Eastern Market Brewing Run Club, combining eating four hot dogs with running four quarter-mile laps. On Sunday, June 1, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., participants and spectators gathered at Eastern Market Brewing Co. in Detroit to enjoy hot dogs, beers, and support Detroit Dog Rescue. The race started in three waves at 45-minute intervals. Spectators could buy Motor City Frank’s hot dogs while watching, and a raffle with dog- and running-related prizes helped raise extra funds for the rescue. It was a lively Sunday celebration of running, dogs, and good food.
